Okay, so today I wanted to find out who the shortest soccer player in the Premier League is. It’s something I’ve been curious about for a while, so I finally decided to dig in and figure it out.
My Research Process
First, I fired up Google, obviously. My initial search was pretty basic, something like “shortest Premier League player”. I scrolled through a bunch of articles, but a lot of them were outdated or just talking about short players in general, not necessarily the shortest.
I refined my search a few times, adding terms like “current season” and “2023-2024” to try and get more relevant results. That helped a bit, but I still wasn’t totally confident in what I was finding.
Then I decided to go to some of the official team websites. I figured they’d have the most accurate player stats, like height and all that. I started clicking through team rosters, looking at player profiles. It was a bit tedious, I’m not gonna lie. So many players to check!
- Manually checking a few team website, found some players that their heigh is around 165cm.
After all that digging and clicking, finally realized that the shortest player in the Premier League might change depending on who gets signed or transferred, so it’s not always a fixed * depands on the data that the team release!
