Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole “Valspar past winners” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a rabbit hole, but a fun one! I wanted to see if there were any patterns or interesting tidbits about the folks who’ve won the Valspar Championship over the years.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed a list. I mean, you can’t really analyze past winners without, you know, knowing who the past winners are. So, I hit up the internet, started searching, and, well, let’s just say there are a LOT of golf websites out there.
Building My List
I started jotting down names and the years they won. I used a simple notepad at first – nothing fancy, just getting the raw data down. I figured I could organize it better later.
Organizing the Chaos
After I had a decent list (it took a while, I’m not gonna lie), I decided to put it into a spreadsheet. Much cleaner! This made it way easier to see everything at a glance. I added columns for:
- Year
- Winner
Diving Deeper (Maybe)
Now, this is where I am now. I’ve got my list, it’s all organized, and I’m starting to look at it. I haven’t spotted any HUGE, mind-blowing trends yet. It takes more time,I will keep my eyes on it!
So, that’s where I’m at with this little project. It’s been a fun way to learn a bit more about the Valspar Championship, and hey, maybe I’ll even use this info for some friendly wagers next year! Who knows!
