Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Winner Avenue Monopoly” thing pop up all over my socials, and I finally decided to give it a shot. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but I figured, why not? It’s supposed to be some kind of twist on the classic Monopoly game, and who doesn’t love a good board game night?

First things first, I grabbed the game. I was really expecting to do all the stuff about preparing the board and the cards, but it was simple.
Getting Started
- Unboxed everything. Pretty standard stuff: the board, the cards, the little player pieces. The artwork was kind of cool, a bit more modern than the classic Monopoly.
- Read the rules. Okay, this is where it started to get interesting. There are some definite differences from regular Monopoly. It’s still about buying properties, building houses and hotels, and bankrupting your opponents, but there are some new twists.
Playing the Game
I rounded up a couple of friends, because what’s Monopoly without a little friendly competition? We divvied up the money, chose our tokens, and started rolling.
I quickly start to get familiar with the board and the game, the new cards and actions make it more excited, because there is differente strategies to play with my friends.
It’s cool to see how everything plays out. I noticed people getting frustrated when they landed on my properties, which, I gotta admit, was pretty satisfying.

The game took a couple of hours, and there were definitely some tense moments. At one point, I thought I was going to lose, but then I managed to snag a key property and turn things around.
My Verdict
In the end, I actually won! Beginner’s luck? Maybe. But I have to say, I really enjoyed “Winner Avenue Monopoly”. It’s a fun twist on a classic, and it definitely made for a good game night. Would I play it again? Absolutely.
