Okay, so I wanted to figure out this whole Phillies vs. Red Sox prediction thing for their game on June 12th. I’m not a professional gambler or anything, but I do enjoy a bit of sports analysis, so I decided to give it a shot.
First, I looked up the probable starting pitchers. Gotta know who’s on the mound, right? That’s baseball 101.
Then, I checked out both teams’ recent performance. Like, how have they been hitting lately? Are they on a winning streak, or have they been struggling?
- I spent some time digging through their stats. It was a bit of a rabbit hole, I will say.
- I compared their recent records, especially how they are performed at home/away games.
Next, I considered any injuries. A key player being out can really change the game, so that was important to factor in. I have to keep a keen eye on who’s in and who’s out.
Putting It All Together
After I gathered all that info, I just kind of… thought about it. There’s no magic formula, really. It’s more like, “Okay, based on all this, what feels like the most likely outcome?”
Finally, I made my own prediction. I’m not going to share it here, of course – that’s my little secret! But I did write it down, just to see if I’m right. It’ll be interesting to review the outcome of the game, and the data that goes with it.
Honestly, it was more about the process than the actual prediction. I like the challenge of trying to analyze all the different factors. We’ll see if my “analysis” actually means anything when the game is played!
