Okay, so I saw this thing online called “Jon Moxley Death Jitsu,” and I was like, “What the heck is that?” It sounded kinda cool and dangerous, so I decided to give it a try. I’m not a wrestler or anything, just a regular guy who likes trying new stuff, especially if it involves getting a bit physical.
First, I tried to find out what this “Death Jitsu” actually is. It’s basically some moves that this wrestler, Jon Moxley, does. They look pretty rough, and he seems to like smashing people’s heads, I guess. I watched a bunch of his matches, pausing and rewinding, trying to copy what he was doing. It wasn’t easy, I can tell you that. This guy is a pro, and I’m just some dude in my living room.
I started with some basic stuff, like trying to do a proper punch and then what I think is a kick to the gut. Let me tell you, I pulled a muscle on my third try. Not fun. But I kept at it, practicing these moves in front of a mirror. I know I looked ridiculous, but hey, who cares? I was having a blast.
After a few days of this, I felt like I was getting the hang of it, at least the basics. I even tried to do this thing where Moxley lifts a guy and slams him down. I used a big cushion for that, obviously. My living room floor isn’t exactly a wrestling ring. It was tough, and I almost dropped the cushion on my foot a couple of times. I definitely need to work on my lifting technique.
I also tried to mimic his attitude, you know, the whole tough-guy vibe. I’d walk around the house, trying to look all serious and mean, but I think I just ended up looking like I needed to use the bathroom. My cat was definitely judging me, though.
The Results
- Sweat: A lot. This stuff is a real workout. I was sweating like crazy after each session.
- Muscles: Sore. Especially my legs and arms. I discovered muscles I didn’t even know I had.
- Fun: Loads. It was silly, it was tough, but it was also a lot of fun. I felt like a kid again, pretending to be a superhero or something.
- Skill: Still pretty bad. Let’s be honest, I’m no Jon Moxley. But I did get a bit better at throwing punches and doing some basic wrestling moves.
Would I recommend this to others? Maybe. It’s definitely not for everyone. You need to be a bit careful, and you’ll probably look silly doing it. But if you’re like me, someone who enjoys trying out new things and doesn’t mind a bit of physical activity, then why not? Just make sure you’ve got enough space and maybe some cushions, just in case.
So, that’s my experience with “Jon Moxley Death Jitsu.” It was a wild ride, and I’m definitely going to keep practicing. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be good enough to challenge Moxley himself. Okay, maybe not, but a guy can dream, right?
