Okay, so I was watching the 2023 Masters the other day, and it got me thinking, “I wonder how many pars were made in total?” It seemed like a fun little project to figure it out. I mean, it’s one of the biggest golf tournaments, right? So I started digging around to find the answer.

First, I scoured the internet for any official stats. I checked out the usual sports news sites, hoping they would have a detailed breakdown. But, all I found was general stuff about the winners, the highlights, you know, the basic stuff. Nothing about the total number of pars, though.
Then, I remembered seeing some detailed scorecards on one of those sports websites. So I went there and started looking through the player scorecards for each round. And I realized that I could find the answer on this website.
Then I started checking these scorecards. I saw some interesting statistics, such as there were no holes-in-one during the 2023 Masters, the most recent hole-in-one was Stewart Cink in 2022 and there were 34 holes-in-one in Masters history.
It was a bit of a tedious process, but hey, I was determined! Finally, after going through all the scorecards, I got my answer. And let me tell you, it was a lot of pars!
But I won’t tell you the exact number, I think it is fun to find it yourself if you are interested in it. If you are curious about it, you can also do some research to get the answer. It is easy to find it. It is fun!
