Okay, so, I gotta tell you about this project I did, all about those classic superstars of the WWE. Man, it brought back memories!
Getting Started
First off, I had to figure out what I really wanted to do. Was it gonna be a video? A written piece? I was all over the place. I went with a blog post, figuring I could really go deep on each wrestler.
Digging for Gold
Then came the research. I spent hours, and I mean hours, watching old matches on YouTube, I tried to find some old magazines in my attic, it was wild. I was looking for those epic moments, you know, the ones that everyone remembers.
Putting it all Together
The next step was actually writing the thing. I decided to focus on a few key matches. Like, who could forget Shawn Michaels versus Razor Ramon at WrestleMania X? That ladder match was insane! I wrote about the build-up, the match itself, and the aftermath. Then, I did the same for a couple of other classic matches.
- Organized my notes – I had notes everywhere. I made a spreadsheet to keep track of the wrestlers, the matches, and the key moments.
- Wrote the first draft – It was rough, but I got all my thoughts down.
- Edited like crazy – I read through it so many times, my eyes started to blur. I had my friend check it out too, just to make sure it made sense.
- Added some visuals – A blog post needs some eye candy, right? I grabbed some screenshots from the matches I was writing about. Found some old-school photos too, which was a nice touch.
The Finish Line
Finally, I hit publish. It felt good to get it out there. And the feedback? People loved it! They were sharing their own memories of those classic matches. It was a blast connecting with other wrestling fans. I was so glad that I finished this project!
This whole thing, it wasn’t just about reliving those awesome wrestling moments. It was about the process, the journey of creating something from scratch. And you know what? I’m already thinking about my next project!
