Alright, let’s talk about my journey figuring out the best army for Town Hall 11 in Clash of Clans. I’ve been playing this game for a while, and reaching Town Hall 11 was a big deal. Suddenly, there were so many new troops and defenses, and I had no clue what to do.
At first, I watched a ton of videos online. Everyone was saying different things. Some videos shouted about the “ultimate” army, while others were all like, “Zap Dragons are the easiest!” I tried a bunch of them, copying the armies they showed. It was a mess. I lost a lot of battles and wasted a lot of resources.
My Experiments
- Zap Dragons: People said this was easy, but it wasn’t for me. I kept messing up the spell placements, and my dragons would just fly around getting zapped. It felt like I could get it right, but it would need more practice.
- Electro Dragons: These guys looked cool, but they were so slow. By the time they reached anything, my other troops were already gone. Maybe I wasn’t using them right, but it just didn’t click with me. They did not give me the result I wanted, it was just like an air version of PEKKA.
- Witches and Golems: Some videos mentioned “Zap Witches,” and I thought, why not? I threw in some Golems to tank, and it actually worked pretty well! The Golems soaked up damage, and the witches kept summoning skeletons.
After many trials and errors, I started to get the hang of it. I focused on the Witch Slap strategy. It was not easy at the beginning. My timing was off, and my troops often walked into the wrong compartments. But I kept practicing, watching my replays, and learning from my mistakes.
Slowly but surely, I started winning more attacks. I figured out how to funnel my troops better, where to place my spells, and how to time my hero abilities. I used Golems to create a path, and then sent in my Witches and Bowlers. It was awesome watching the skeletons swarm the enemy base!
I also learned that army composition is not everything. Base layout plays a huge role. I started paying attention to where the enemy placed their key defenses and adjusted my army accordingly. Sometimes, I would add a few Hog Riders or Balloons to take out specific defenses.
It took a lot of time, but I finally felt like I had a good grasp of attacking at Town Hall 11. I was consistently getting two or three stars in wars, and my resource count was always high. It was a great feeling to finally overcome the challenge.
My biggest takeaway is that there’s no one “best” army. It depends on your play style, the enemy base, and a bit of luck. Don’t be afraid to experiment, learn from your mistakes, and find what works best for you. Keep clashing, and have fun!
