Okay, so, today, I decided to jump into this “ovo college collab” thing. It sounded interesting, you know, a fresh way to mix things up with my usual work. So, I went ahead and signed up for it, not really knowing what to expect.
First off, I filled out some forms online. It was pretty standard stuff – name, what I’m into, what I hope to get out of this. Then, I got matched with a couple of other people. We started chatting, just to get a feel for each other’s vibe.
Brainstorming and Planning
Next, we hopped on a video call. That’s when the real fun started. We tossed around ideas, trying to figure out what we could do together. It was a bit all over the place at first, but hey, that’s how these things usually go, right?
- One person suggested a podcast.
- Another was all about making a short film.
- I was leaning towards something more hands-on, maybe a workshop or something.
We finally settled on creating an online workshop series. It felt like a good middle ground, something we could all contribute to and get something out of.
Diving into the Work
With the idea in place, we divvied up the tasks. I took on the role of putting together the content outline. It was a bit of a challenge, trying to blend our different interests and expertise, but it was also pretty cool to see it all come together.
We set up a shared online document, so we could all see what the others were doing and give feedback. It was a bit messy at times, with all the comments and edits, but we managed to keep things on track.
Hitting a Few Snags
Of course, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. We ran into a few issues along the way. Scheduling meetings was tough, with everyone in different time zones. And sometimes, we had different opinions on how things should be done. But we talked it out and found ways to compromise.
Putting It All Together
After a few weeks of hard work, we finally had a solid plan for our workshop series. We created the presentation slides, wrote the scripts, and even did a few practice runs. It was a lot of work, but seeing it all come together was super satisfying.
The Final Stretch
Finally, the day of the first workshop arrived. We were all a bit nervous, but also excited. We logged on, greeted the participants, and kicked things off. It wasn’t perfect, but it went pretty well! We got some good feedback, and we even learned a few things ourselves.
Overall, this “ovo college collab” thing turned out to be a pretty awesome experience. I got to meet some cool people, learned a bunch of new stuff, and even created something I’m really proud of. Definitely something I’d recommend trying out if you get the chance!
