Alright, let’s talk about this “Monopoly GO Corn Maze” thing. I saw a bunch of folks online asking about the rewards and milestones, and since I was diving into it anyway, I figured I might as well keep track of my progress and share it with everyone. So, I started playing, and man, it’s just like all the other events in Monopoly GO.
The first thing I did was to just start rolling those dice. I mean, that’s how you get anywhere in this game, right? You just roll and move around the board. I noticed that the key to this Corn Maze event is collecting these “Corn tokens”. Now, how do you get these tokens? Well, I found out there are a couple of ways.
- Blocked Shutdowns: So, I started landing on those Shutdown tiles, trying to shut down other players’ landmarks. When I got a “Blocked Shutdown,” I earned 2 Corn tokens. That seemed pretty straightforward.
- Successful Shutdowns: I also noticed that if I managed to successfully shut down someone’s landmark, I’d get 4 tokens. Okay, that’s double the blocked ones, I’m gonna focus on that!
I kept at it, rolling, moving, and trying to land on those Shutdown tiles as much as possible. I wasn’t really paying too much attention to the other tiles at first, just focusing on getting those shutdowns and racking up the Corn tokens.
The Milestones and Rewards
As I played, I started noticing the milestones popping up. Each milestone requires a certain number of those Corn tokens to reach. And of course, the more tokens you gather, the more rewards you unlock.
I decided to write down each milestone and the reward I got. I started with a small notebook and a pen. Here are some examples of what I scribbled down:
- Milestone 1: Needed like 5 tokens. Got some cash. Not bad for a start.
- Milestone 5: This one was a bit more, maybe 20 tokens. Got some free dice rolls. Sweet!
- Milestone 10: Now we’re talking. This one took a while but I got a sticker pack, which was helpful.
I just kept going like this. Roll, collect tokens, hit a milestone, get a reward, and note it down. It got pretty addicting, to be honest. I was landing on those Shutdown tiles like crazy, sometimes getting blocked, sometimes succeeding, but always earning those tokens.
The rewards got better as I progressed through the milestones. More cash, more dice rolls, better sticker packs and some special items. There were like almost 40 milestones!
Eventually, I hit the last milestone, whatever it was, number 39 or something. I was pretty proud of myself for sticking with it. It took a good chunk of time, but I managed to unlock all the rewards. I even ended up with a decent stash of dice and cash that I could use in the regular game.
So, that’s my experience with the Monopoly GO Corn Maze event. It’s a grind, no doubt, but if you’re patient and focus on those shutdowns, you can definitely make it through and snag all those rewards. Just remember to keep track of your progress, it helps to see how far you’ve come. Good luck!
