Okay, so I gotta tell you guys about this whole Dakota Kai at SummerSlam thing. Man, what a whirlwind! First off, I was bummed, like, really bummed, when she got released back in April 2022. I thought, “That’s it, no more Dakota in WWE.” I mean, she’s awesome, right?
Fast forward to that year’s SummerSlam, July 30th. I was watching, you know, just chilling and taking it all in. And then BAM! Out comes Dakota! I swear, I nearly choked on my popcorn. I was like, “No way! Is that really her?” It was such a shock, I couldn’t believe my eyes. She had been out of the show for months because of her torn ACL injury.
Turns out, she wasn’t alone. She rolled in with Bayley and IYO SKY, and they formed this new crew called Damage CTRL. It was wild! They just strutted out there like they owned the place. My jaw was on the floor, I’m not even kidding. I was thinking, “This is crazy, this is the best comeback ever!”
Then I saw her on The Bump, talking about the whole thing. She mentioned that the SummerSlam return was like, super last minute. Can you believe that? They probably threw it all together at the last second. It’s crazy how these things work out.
- First, Dakota got let go from WWE. Big bummer.
- Then, out of nowhere, she showed up at SummerSlam. Total shocker!
- She came back with Bayley and IYO, forming Damage CTRL. So cool!
- Heard her on The Bump, saying it was all last minute. Mind blown!
It just goes to show you, you never know what’s gonna happen in the world of wrestling. One minute someone’s gone, the next they’re back in the biggest way possible. And Dakota’s return? Definitely one for the books. I’m just glad I got to witness it, even if it did almost make me choke on my snacks!
