Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this “Dream Ticker” thing in Honkai: Star Rail version 2.2, and let me tell you, it’s a trip.
First off, where do you even find this thing? You gotta go to this place called the Reverie. Sounds fancy, right? Once you’re there, you’ll stumble upon these broken clocks, and that’s your cue.
I started poking around, trying to figure out what the heck I was supposed to do. Turns out, you gotta fix these clocks. They call it the “Big Ticker Dream Ticker Puzzle” or something like that.
Here’s the deal: you have to get this little guy, Clockie, through the big clock’s mind, and he needs to hit all three gears inside.
I spent a good chunk of time moving these blocks around. I moved this block here, then that block there. It is a real head-scratcher, I won’t lie. The game calls it a minigame from the “Hanu’s Prison Break” event, but it feels more like a full-blown brain workout. There are various blocks you need to rearrange, it feels deep and complex.
I pushed, I pulled, I twisted those blocks in every direction. I even tried stacking them in weird ways just to see what would happen. Sometimes it felt like I was making progress, and other times it was just a mess.
After a lot of trial and error, I finally figured out the right combination. It was like a lightbulb moment. You move this block here, that one there, and bam, Clockie hits the first gear.

First Gear:
I started with the block on the far left. I pushed it to the right as far as it could go, then I moved the block in the middle towards the left. This cleared a path for Clockie to reach the first gear.
-
Second Gear:
This one was trickier. I had to reset the blocks a couple of times. I figured out that I needed to move the top right block down first, then slide the one in the middle to the right. Finally, I pushed the bottom left block up, and Clockie was able to get to the second gear.
-
Third Gear:
By this point, I was starting to get the hang of it. I moved the blocks in the bottom right corner first. This created a space for me to move the longer block on the left downwards. Then, I just had to push the last block to the right, and Clockie hit the third gear. It was a tough one, but I did it.
Once Clockie reaches all three gears, you’ve solved the puzzle. It’s a pretty cool feeling, like you’ve actually accomplished something.
So yeah, that’s my experience with the Dream Ticker in Honkai: Star Rail 2.2. It’s a fun, but challenging little puzzle game. It takes some time, some patience, and a whole lot of block-moving, but it’s definitely worth it in the end.
