Alright, so, I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz online about Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s son and his boxing. It’s all over the place, videos, articles, you name it. I got curious, so I decided to dig in and see what this is all about. I mean, the kid’s gotta have some of his dad’s skills, right?
First, I started by watching some videos of Floyd with his son, Koraun. I found this one video where Floyd’s teaching him some basic moves, you know, just getting the feel for it. Koraun’s not a little kid anymore, he is 20 years old. So, I was thinking he was not a new beginner.
Then, I stumbled upon some clips of Floyd’s grandson. Apparently, this little guy, Kentrell, is only two years old, and there’s a video of him doing some shadowboxing. I gotta say, even for a two-year-old, it’s pretty impressive. He’s got some moves. It’s just so interesting that a video clip of a 2-year-old boy show off some shadowboxing skills can be surfaced online.
What really caught my eye was reading about Floyd’s own training habits. The guy’s a legend, 50-0 in professional boxing, retired, and known for being a defensive genius. And from what I gathered, he’s a night owl. Makes sense, with all those late-night fights he used to have. He sleeps 9-10 hours. Also, he’s a father of four: Koraun, Zion, Jirah, and Iyanna. I guess he spends much time being a dad after retired.
- Watched a bunch of videos of Koraun training with Floyd.
- Checked out the clip of Kentrell shadowboxing.
- Dug into articles about Floyd’s training and lifestyle.
- Compared Koraun’s progress to what you’d expect from someone his age.
- Found out some information about Mayweather’s kids and his grandson.
- Read something that mentions his accurate punching records.
- Found that his lifestyle revolves around the late-night main event hours.
Here’s what I did:
I have to find that one of his daughter’s boyfriends is a rapper and is on house arrest since 2021. What a mess!
Honestly, it’s a bit early to say if Koraun’s going to be the next Floyd Mayweather. He’s got big shoes to fill. But, seeing him train with his dad, and even seeing his little nephew show some early skills, it’s definitely something to keep an eye on. I’ll be following their progress for sure. Who knows, maybe we’ll see another Mayweather dominating the boxing world someday.
One thing is clear, Floyd is passing down his knowledge. Whether it’s to his son or his grandson, the Mayweather boxing legacy seems to be in good hands. Or, well, in good fists. Haha.
