And then they give these fellas a clock, like a timer. They gotta shoot as many of them balls as they can before the time runs out. I heard they get somethin’ like 70 seconds. That ain’t much time, let me tell ya. You gotta be quick!
- Each rack got a bunch of regular balls and one special ball, a “Money Ball” they call it. Regular ball is worth one point, but that Money Ball, that’s worth two. So, you wanna make them Money Balls, that’s for sure.
- They start in one corner and move around the line, shootin’ from each spot. They got helpers gettin’ the balls for ’em, so they can just keep on shootin’. Fast as they can. It’s like a chicken with its head cut off, runnin’ around, shootin’ balls.
- And it ain’t just one round, no sir. They do this whole thing twice. First round, everybody shoots. Then, the top three fellas, the ones who made the most shots, they go at it again in the final round. That’s when it really gets interestin’.
Scoring and Winning
Now, how do they win? Well, it’s simple. The fella who makes the most shots, gets the most points, he wins. Plain and simple. They add up all the points from the regular balls and the Money Balls, and whoever got the highest score, that’s the champ. He’s the best 3-point shooter of the bunch, at least for that day.
